Baby Muskrat

Introduction

The Baby Muskrat is a 3-inch hand-poured wake bait that imitates a young muskrat swimming across the surface, a meal big bass cannot resist when they move shallow. On a slow, steady retrieve it throws a tight wake and a subtle knock that calls fish up from cover and triggers violent topwater strikes.

The quick screw-on tail system means a chewed-up tail takes seconds to replace, so one short strike never ends your day. Hand-painted in Ramona, California to match real forage, the Baby Muskrat has put plenty of double-digit bass in the boat, with anglers reporting fish over ten pounds. Fish it around laydowns, grass edges, and shallow flats at first and last light. When bass are keyed on critters crossing the surface, the Baby Muskrat is one of the deadliest small wake baits you can throw.

The Baby Muskrat is the ultimate finesse wake bait, that also has the benefit of being fished sub-surface! Wake it super slow on the surface, or fish it fast to make it dive like a crank bait!

The Baby Muskrat’s superior durability and ultra-realistic swim pattern results in explosive strikes around rip rap, docks, trees, lay downs, and grass!

The extremely sharp hooks are attached to built-in swivels that rotate 360 degrees so monster fish wont come unbuttoned. The tail can quickly be replaced with the quick screw on tail replacement system, to get you back to catching giants!
