Eagle Claw Salmon/Steelhead Short Shank Octopus Hook

Introduction

The Eagle Claw Salmon/Steelhead Short Shank Octopus Hook is built for bait presentations commonly used in river and drift fishing. The short shank helps keep eggs, beads, and other natural baits compact on the hook, while the offset design improves hooking position when fish take the bait. A needlepoint tip penetrates with less effort, helping drive the hook home on lighter line setups. The up-eye configuration works naturally with snelled leaders and traditional salmon or steelhead rigs. Built with medium wire strength and finished in platinum black, this hook provides the balance of durability and presentation control anglers rely on when fishing moving water.
