Megabass The Knuckle LD

Introduction

The Megabass The Knuckle LD is a tournament-tuned shallow-running crankbait engineered to excel in highly pressured fisheries and cold-water conditions. Developed as part of Megabass’ Project Legend (LD) Series, this premium crankbait incorporates specialized refinements to produce a tighter, higher-frequency wobble and roll that consistently triggers reaction strikes from wary bass.

Replacing the original FX lip with a precision circuit-board lip, The Knuckle LD responds instantly to rod input while maintaining a crisp, high-pitch hunting action. Its fixed internal weight system creates a completely silent presentation, making it especially effective when targeting educated fish that shy away from loud rattles. A swivel-mounted front hook hanger helps improve landing percentages by reducing leverage during the fight and minimizing thrown hooks.

Measuring 2 inches (60mm) and weighing 3/8 oz, The Knuckle LD dives to approximately 5 feet, making it ideal for fishing shallow rock, riprap, laydowns, grass edges, docks, and other high-percentage cover. Whether burned across flats, deflected off cover, or retrieved with a stop-and-go cadence, this floating crankbait delivers the refined action and premium craftsmanship Megabass is known for.
