Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Caffeine Shad

Introduction

The Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Caffeine Shad is a highly versatile soft jerkbait designed to imitate injured baitfish with an erratic, darting action that drives bass crazy. Developed with input from legendary angler Kevin VanDam, this bait combines realistic movement with Strike Kings exclusive Perfect Plastic formula for superior softness, durability, and fish-catching performance.

Infused with coffee scent and salt, the Caffeine Shad encourages fish to hold on longer while masking human odors for more confident bites. Its streamlined baitfish profile allows it to glide, twitch, and dart naturally through the water, making it deadly for weightless rigging, belly-weighted hooks, underspins, and umbrella rigs.

Whether you’re fishing shallow grass flats, schooling fish, docks, or open water, the Caffeine Shad excels in both clear and stained water conditions. The forked tail design creates subtle action even on pauses, making it effective during all seasons and retrieve styles.

Built by Strike King, the KVD Perfect Plastic Caffeine Shad is a must-have bait for anglers who want realistic action and consistent results.
